Shipping & Collection

We only charge postage once per shipment, no matter how many products you buy.

If you select to have your order sent then it will be shipped with Royal Mail. Our post is collected daily at 16:00 Monday to Friday & at 12:15 on a Saturday. We send all paid orders out each day, if your payment is cleared by around 10 minutes before our post is collected we will run to get it picked and packed to ship that day!

We ship orders in plain packaging & offer the following delivery options:

Standard Delivery

• FREE standard shipping for orders over £40 for any number of items.
• We ship with Royal Mail so our shipping costs are based on the physical size of the items in your order.
• £2.50 for Large Letter sized orders, these ship using Royal Mail 48 which usually takes two to three days to most of the UK & has a delivery confirmation.
• £4.50 for Parcel sized orders, these ship using Royal Mail Tracked 48 which usually takes two to three days to most of the UK & has tracking.
• For some Parcel sized orders we can reduce the size to Large Letter by vacuum packing them! Orders sent in this way qualify for a £2 postage discount. See below for more information about vacuum packing.

Express Delivery

• £5.50 for Royal Mail Tracked 24 express delivery for any size order.
• Royal Mail Tracked 24 orders should reach most parts of the UK the next day. 

Collection

If you are local to us you are very welcome to call in & collect your order. There is no charge for collecting & our collection point is open Monday to Friday from 9-16:00 & on Saturday between 11:30-12:15. We have ample free parking close to our easily accessible warehouse.You will receive an email when your order is ready for collection.  Please bring your order number with you. Vacuum Packing

Royal Mail postage costs are based on the physical size of the package so we looked for a way to reduce the size of the items in an order & so reduce the postage cost for our customers. Our solution is to vacuum pack orders! We do this by putting the items in a special plastic bag, this is then placed in industrial vacuum packing machine which removes the air & seals the bag. We've been vacuum packing orders for years so our system knows if the items in your order are suitable & if they are will offer you the £2 postage discount. People ask us if the products are damaged by vacuum packing & the simple answer is No. When you open the vacuum packed bag & let the air back in the items quickly return to their original size & any creases drop out after a short time.

This is an example of vacuum packing some of our Atano Mens Union Jack Knitted Slipper Socks. We turned an 8 cm tall package into a 2 cm tall package so rather than sending it as a Parcel we can send it as a Large Letter and we pass the postage saving onto you. A recent customer commented "Fantastic packing. The idea of vacuum packing made the package small enough to go through the letterbox" another customer said "Very quick to post and vacuum packed so even nine pairs of knickers in one package could fit through the letter box! Brilliant!" which shows another advantage of reducing the size of the package.
